Thank heavens! XD
Although it's thanks to them that my teeth are now very normal looking XD
I would of course thank my (Italian) Dentist (who sounds like Luigi XD) for his hard work and effort into helping me despite having to put up with me and my mother - who kept complaining about the gaps that never seem to close everytime she sees the poor guy XD
There is such a massive difference between before braces and after braces =D
Shall I post the photo of before braces....?
It might scare the living beegeezus out of anyone who decides to come to this blog.....
ah well....
Seriously....looking back to what my teeth used to look like....really.....creeps me out on how I had lived with my teeth like that in the past OTL
My teeth used to look so gross so I really am very grateful for what they look like now which is....
Which is with my retainers on so it may look a tad weird but definitely better than my teeth before!
This seems like a really gross post.....XD
I still remember when I had to have my first tooth pulled out for my braces
It seems like it was only yesterday.....*sighs*
And today when I went to get them taken off, it wasn't my usual (Italian) dentist, which I was very upset by because I've had him from the start and not having him take it off for me seemed wrong....(or maybe it's just me XD)
But the women who helped me was really kind and made sure my teeth looked their best! =D
Right after she took them off, my teeth felt a bit weird at first - like really light and fragile - but then I soon got used to it
And then afterwards I couldn't stop smiling XD
Because before the braces, I had hated my teeth (you can see why from above =P) therefore I didn't really like to smile, especially in photos that's why I used to look really grumpy
And then when I had my braces fitted, I started to worry about it (thinking I might fall into the 'nerd' stereotype with my braces) so I tried not to smile too much - although when I laughed I always covered my teeth
And I used to get really self-concious that food was stuck in my braces so I tried not to smile after eating
So what a relief it is not that my teeth are better - I don't need to worry so much anymore
Except I do worry about breaking my retainers since I have to pay £120 just to get a new pair! (>_<)
And I have to be careful with my teeth as well because I really don't want them to move back to their places they were before because that would be.....worrying to say the least.....
