2012 nearly here....part 2!

Because the first post was waaay to long so decided to split it XDDD

Top 10 favourite moments of 2011
Like the top 10 favourite songs I don't think I'll be able to rank my favourite moments of 2011 but I definitely know what my #1 moment of 2011 is  XD

My favourite moment of 2011 HAS to be......
When I got a ticket to see L'arc~en~ciel next year!!!!!!!!
I was soo happy and right now I am still absolutely excited to be able to see them next year!!!

And my nine other favourite moments are....

  • Getting my first YUI album from my aunt (Can't Buy My Love)
  • Buying my own copy of SID's Dead Stock which I treasure along with my YUI album <3
  • My trip to Edinburgh in October which was really fun
  • My experience in the Japanese summer club where I met fellow manga buddies XD
  • When I got my first offer from my first University - I was practically running around and jumping around with happiness XDDD
  • When I got an offer from Middlesex Uni - because it is my first choice <3
  • Having created the SIDfacts account on Twitter has helped me become closer to SID and their fans
  • School trip to Disney was definitely an unforgettable experience and will definitely be the highlight to my high school life <3
  • When I realised I passed my grade 6 and 7 piano within 3 months XDDD

Top 5 albums of 2011
This is only top 5 because I don't think I have 10 albums.....XDDD

5.  Jay Chou - Exclamation Mark!
I love about 6 out of 12 songs in this album and there's a lot of varieties as well

4. YUI - How Crazy Your Love
This wasn't my favourite album of YUI's but it definitely had a lot of good songs on it but it was more either amazing! or quite forgettable songs....

3. SID - Dead Stock
It might just be because I own a copy of this album myself XD but I do love the songs on this album, although not their best, but still some pretty awesome songs (especially Sympathy <3)

1. AT JOINT FIRST! (because I really couldn't decide between them...(>_<))
UVERworld - Life 6 Sense

BREAKERz - Go

They are both epic albums to me and I seriously couldn't stop listening to them both when they both came out. They both had so many songs that I love and couldn't get out of my head <3

What I'm looking forward to in 2012.....

.....The end of the world

JOKE!

I don't really believe in that rubbish xD

But I will definitely be looking forward to Laraku's concert in London *squeals*
And I'm looking forward to moving out and going to Uni! and getting away from here....*sighs*

2012 nearly here...

haven't updated in aaaaages.....
So decided to update one last time before the new years XD
Nothing much has really happened except for christmas, receiving presents etc.
This is kinda the last year I'll be work for christmas before I head up to Uni....
I really will miss it especially since everyone's so nice where I work and I have a great boss who even gave me a end-of-year bonus - which I am very grateful for <3
I guess it's kinda the only place where you're allowed to work and watch Nausicca at the same time as well XDDD

Presents I've got....
A new bad from my aunt which is really cute with three bulldogs on it
Earmuffs from my ginger friend XD
Lots of food mostly consisting of chocolates, biscuits and sweets <3
Socks which I really need since 90% of my current socks all have holes in them....
Lip balm which I also need because my current one is running out XDDD
From my mother I got a hair curling iron/wand...? Not sure what you're meant to call them XDD

But yeah, everything that I need which is pretty cool =)

------

So I guess I should totally do a top 10 things of 2011 thing right? XD

Top 10 music
It's kinda hard to pick my favourite music of 2011 but I'll choose my ten favourites <3
And it'll only be fair if I choose one from each artist so that it won't be all from the same artist...._A_

YUI - Green a.live

It's such a sweet and inspiring song and I just fell in love with this song the moment I heard it <3

SID - Akikaze

It's a really relaxing song and the instruments with Mao's voice really goes well with each other <3

L'arc~en~ciel - XXX

It HAS to be this song! I don't know what about this song that I love so much but I just can't help myself loving it and singing along to 'step into fascination, trap of infatuation kiss~~~' XDD

BREAKERz - Go

This wasn't my favourite track on their new album this year, but it grew on me slowly and I just love it <3

UVERworld - Core Pride

Choosing a favourite from UVERworld was pretty hard because they had some pretty immense songs this year but I have to go with "Core Pride", I absolutely love the brass mixed in with the song <3

Jay Chou - Sailors Afraid of Water

This is such a fun song to listen to and I absolutely love the MV XD

Panic! At the Disco - The Ballad of Mona Lisa

When I first heard about this song I was like 'OMG! PATD!' and this just totally made me fall in love with them again <3

Plastic Trees - Chim Chim Cher-ee Cover

ok...this isn't exactly by them but their cover of this song is amazing and I love how dark they've made this song <3

Aqua Timez - Memento Mori

I love Aqua Timez's album 'Carpe Diem' and this is one of my favourite songs off of it <3

AYABIE - Ryuusei

I just love how traditional this song sounds and then given a more rockier edge to it <3

This post has gotten waaaaay too long XDDD

Christmas Holiday Starts!

So glad that school has ended~~~
Although that means now I need to focus and concentrate on revising for my exams that are getting closer and closer....

And!
I checked this morning and I got an offer from Middlesex Uni!
Which is actually my first choice <3
So I'm currently ecstatic at the news!
And it has given me new found motivation to revise XD

Fringe Fringe Fringe

Had my hair cut two days ago
and....
I got a fringe!
Now just a side fringe that I usually get, but a proper fringe XD
I'm always going on about how I want a fringe but am too much of a coward to get one
Especially when reading about stuff on the internet about how square-shaped faces shouldn't get fringes....
So I got there and said I wanted a fringe but what kind of fringe I'll leave it up to the hairdresser to decide what suits me best XD
And in the end she gave me a proper fringe and said that if I didn't like it, it would always grow out
And I like it (sometimes) and sometimes I don't as much....

I was way too scared to go to school with my fringe and clipped it up XD
And since I haven't 'announced' to any of my friends that I got a fringe, none of them know about it yet XD
I was actually going to show my fringe but then I lost one side of my contacts, had a mental breakdown trying to find it, gave up, so clipped my fringe up XD
It just looks too weird (makes my face look really square) when I wear my glasses....(>_<)

Thought I'd go pick up my next batch of contact lens but they haven't arrived yet....
So I'm either stuck with wearing glasses for the rest of the week or just wear one side of my contact lens....
hm....
I don't know what to do....(>_<)

My First offer!

Was checking my school email on my phone and found that there was a change in my UCAS Track so decided to go check it out
Was actually freaking out a bit because I didn't know whether I'm going to be rejected or not XD
But annoyingly my phone wouldn't let me go on my UCAS Track and I had to run up stairs to my laptop to check
Actually felt like I was going to explode if I didn't check right away XD
And I might've over-reacted a bit too much....(ok more than a bit _A_)

But when I check it was an offer form University of West England! (UWE)
And was ecstatic to the point that I ran back down stairs and barged into the kitchen almost screaming at my mother that I got my first offer XD
Even though UWE wasn't my first choice but...still it's a start XD

But then I remembered that I had to check the conditional offer requirements and practically ran back up stairs again to check XD
And to my disappoint....
They wanted my 340 UCAS points from a minimum of 2 A levels
Which meant either 2 A's and a B or an A* and 2 B's
Both pretty impossible for me....XD
But I guess if they're going to offer me a place it means they liked me (and hopefully my personal statement) to the point where they believe that I will be able to get it

This could mean a massive boost to my motivation......
Definitely will work hard!

がんばっれよ!

UCAS application sent!

Well actually it was sent on monday and UCAS received it yesterday XD
But finally it's all sorted and now I can finally relax (a little)!
Just have to wait for the offers to come....
Although, currently, I can't check.....because I got myself suspended....(>_<)
I stupidly forgot my password
Well I actually didn't forget my password, UCAS just decided to knock off the last 2 characters from my password, so everytime I entered in what I thought was my password, it would tell me that it was wrong =/
So really it was UCAS' fault that I got suspended =/
I mean, they could've at least told me that they decided to knock off the last 2 characters from my password, so then I wouldn't be suspended and I could actually refresh my page every 10 seconds just in case a Uni decided to offer me a place then XD
I'm going crazy.....

Now my only concern is actually my lack of motivation to do anything at home....
When I'm at school I can do my homework with lots of concentration (although I can't seem to do anything else like my Extended Project)
But when I get back home....I just can't seem to get myself to do any homework or even revise D=
It's terrible....
And I had a Maths Mock today which I didn't revise for....
And I have a Psychology test on friday which I still haven't revised for....
And I have a Chemistry Mock on Monday which seems to be no hope for me revising for it....

What is wrong with my brain?!? D=

I should keep telling myself that I'm going to Laraku's concert so I need to do my best right now!
But that doesn't work....
And then I tell myself that I need to get good grades or else I won't be able to get into the Uni I want, but the only thing that's gonna help persuade me is if I get an offer and I see the grades they are willing to offer me
And if they turn out to be C's I know I won't do anything, because my brain will automatically think that I would get that grade easily (which I know (somewhere deep in my mind) that it won't be that easy)
And if they offer me B's then I know that would give me the motivation to do well!

So I guess it all comes down to me hurrying up and getting an offer so that I can choose my fate XD

I really hope that I will suddenly get back a boost of motivation because I know I really NEED to start revising.....(>_<)

*sighs*

No More Braces!

After two and a half years my braces are finally off!
Thank heavens! XD
Although it's thanks to them that my teeth are now very normal looking XD
I would of course thank my (Italian) Dentist (who sounds like Luigi XD) for his hard work and effort into helping me despite having to put up with me and my mother - who kept complaining about the gaps that never seem to close everytime she sees the poor guy XD

There is such a massive difference between before braces and after braces =D
Shall I post the photo of before braces....?
It might scare the living beegeezus out of anyone who decides to come to this blog.....
ah well....

Seriously....looking back to what my teeth used to look like....really.....creeps me out on how I had lived with my teeth like that in the past OTL
My teeth used to look so gross so I really am very grateful for what they look like now which is....

Which is with my retainers on so it may look a tad weird but definitely better than my teeth before!

This seems like a really gross post.....XD

I still remember when I had to have my first tooth pulled out for my braces
It seems like it was only yesterday.....*sighs*
And today when I went to get them taken off, it wasn't my usual (Italian) dentist, which I was very upset by because I've had him from the start and not having him take it off for me seemed wrong....(or maybe it's just me XD)
But the women who helped me was really kind and made sure my teeth looked their best! =D

Right after she took them off, my teeth felt a bit weird at first - like really light and fragile - but then I soon got used to it
And then afterwards I couldn't stop smiling XD
Because before the braces, I had hated my teeth (you can see why from above =P) therefore I didn't really like to smile, especially in photos that's why I used to look really grumpy
And then when I had my braces fitted, I started to worry about it (thinking I might fall into the 'nerd' stereotype with my braces) so I tried not to smile too much - although when I laughed I always covered my teeth
And I used to get really self-concious that food was stuck in my braces so I tried not to smile after eating
So what a relief it is not that my teeth are better - I don't need to worry so much anymore

Except I do worry about breaking my retainers since I have to pay £120 just to get a new pair! (>_<)
And I have to be careful with my teeth as well because I really don't want them to move back to their places they were before because that would be.....worrying to say the least.....

Sims 3

I've recently become obsessed with sims 3 again
And that's not really a good thing considering the fact that the time I'm using to play sims should actually be used foe revision...
But I can't seem to stop myself
( ノД`)
Sims 3 is just way too addictive
I guess in a way everyone likes to play god now and again and feel like taking in charge of something

But anyways...
Tomorrow will be the epic day that my braces will be coming off!
\(^ω^\)
I actually can't wait because I've had these braces since summer 2009 (so two and a half years ago D=)
I remember so clearly because it was the same year I went to Egypt (actually got braces a few days before we flew off...)
And it was the same year YUI came back from her hiatus and announcing that 'again' will be the opening to a new FMA series, which made be fall in love with the ending, which made me discover SID, which I also fell in love with XD
So yeah...2009 was a pretty good year for me =D

But back on subject XD
It's been so long since I first had braces!
I wonder what it's gonna suddenly be like without them?
I doubt i'll miss them though...XD

Photo is of sims 3 and the blank revision cards that I've made when waiting foe sims to finish loading XD

L'arc~en~ciel!

L'arc~en~ciel is going to be coming to London for their world tour at the O2 arena
The best thing about it is that it's A DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY!
I don't know what else to call it but destiny XD
I mean, it'll be my 18th birthday and it would be amazing to be able to see laraku live for it!
It'll definitely be the best birthdays ever (unless I get to go see SID live XD)
I really wanna go but mother is doubting about stuff and won't make up her mind
I guess she does have the right to worry and I should appreciate that she's trying to look out for me but I really want to go!
I'm so desperate and i've heard so many amazing reviews of lives that I really am itching to go to one
And how much better can it be if my first concert would be l'arc~en~ciel?!?
I just hope mother makes up her decision soon because I want to know I've got tickets and then relax and worry about my personal statement (which I am STILL doing...)

Picture is of my funky rubiks cube that I got for €2 when we went to Spain (all those years ago XD)

Exclamation Mark

Jay Chou's new album was released on 11/11/11 to celebrate 11 years of singing (see what he did there? XD)
Was really excited to hear it!
And was not disappointed (except a few exceptions of auto-tuning....(>_<)) but definitely very 'Jay Chou' XD

01. Exclamation Mark
02. Shadow Puppetry
03. Mine Mine
04. How are you
05. Enchanting Melody
06. Super Sports Goddess
07. The World's Not Over
08. Sailors Afraid Of Water
09. Piano Hurt
10. Princess Syndrome
11. Healing Hot Meat Buns

My Reviews on the songs:

01. Exclamation Mark - This was the first song I heard from his new album, when he released the MV (below) for it, was pretty surprised at first because I really did not expect it XD And the MV is pretty cool the way it was animated. And it reminded me a lot of Red Hot Chilli Pepper's 'Californication' (the MV, I mean XD). I wasn't really used to it at first but then the song soon grew on me and I started loving the guitar riffs and the 'rock' feel of the song

02. Shadow Puppetry - The opening of this song had a mysterious feel to it like one of those snake charmers kinda feel (no idea what I'm talking about) but it's definitely very Jay Chou-like song. And then the very chinese-opera-like voice (is it actually Jay Chou's voice? XD) which cracked me up (like he usually does XD) but added a nice effect to the song. And then near the end, I swear the melody is similar to 'Crazy Frog' XD

03. Mine Mine - Definitely my favourite song out of the whole album and absolutely love the MV (below) for it as well <3 The only problem is the use of auto-tuning (which I absolutely hate) and the song would've sound perfectly beautiful without the auto-tuning ruining his voice that sounds so good without it (>_<) But other than that, definitely love the chorus where he sings 'Mine Mine', it's a really sweet and touching song and just one of the things I love about Jay Chou (and his amazing dancing moves in the MV)

04. How Are You - When I heard the piano intro for this song I immediately knew I'd love it (crazy piano freak here XD) and it really is a nice relaxing song to listen to with the piano (and some strings) in the background and Jay Chou's (NORMAL not auto-tuned) voice in the foreground hitting all the right notes and full of emotions <3 Definitely a really sweet and peaceful song to listen to

05. Enchanting Melody - Was definitely surprised. When the intro first started I was seriously wondering 'woah....' but I definitely liked the weirdness of it. And the song really suited the MV (below) that went with it. Apparently the MV is mean to be based on the movie 'Inception' although I've only watched 10 minutes into it and gave up because it really messed with my mind XD But I really like the background music and the weird thing that keeps getting put on repeat - definitely a nice touch to the song making it sound really enchanting-like

06. Super Sports Goddess - Definitely a song you can recognise as Jay Chou's song. Although I'm really not into R&B and those kinds, it's definitely an easy song to listen to and then there's the piano part (yes, I'm an obsessive piano lover XD) which I love. The chorus is definitely easy to remember and sing to, even if you have no idea what he's singing (like me XD).

07. The World's Not Over - Ah....back to my kind (always love hearing guitars and drums), you can tell that it has a bit of western influence in this song. Love the mix of the guitars and the steady drumming in the background along with Jay Chou's voice hitting the high notes. The slow built up to the chorus definitely makes it feel like a kind of nostalgic kind of song or maybe something you'll listen to whilst driving (off to the sunset or something). It definitely has the feeling that it should end up being the song played at the end credits of a movie (which is a good thing)

08. Sailors Afraid Of Water - This has to be my second favourite song of this album! XD It's just so fun (and so's the MV (below) which is just such entertainment to watch). The classic-ness of this is just epic and you definitely feel like you've been through a time-warp back into time, but he cleverly mixes the modern and past. Absolutely love the beat-boxing bit (although I must say Takuya from UVERworld is definitely better XD). The whole song just makes you want to dance and sing along, and I just love how he sings 'come on come on baby' <3

09. Piano Hurt - Just looking at the title and I already love it <3 XD A very clever mix of classic music and rapping/hip-hop-ness. Jay Chou always manages to get everything to work. And then the piano solo bit and my heart just melts at the recognisable tune that fits perfectly with the whole song and doesn't sound out of place at all. All in all definitely love this song (because I'm a crazy piano fan XD)

10. Princess Syndrome - The cute adorable voice in the beginning is just...adorable (>w<) and then it goes to an upbeat intro. Definitely a very loveable melody and brings out the best in Jay Chou and his singing. A very pop/rock song but definitely not boring or dull where you just unconsciously start tapping your feet along. Although I do wonder about the random 'wrraaaap' parts XD The chorus is definitely rememberable and you'll find yourself start humming along.

11. Healing Hot Meat Buns - Sometimes Jay Chou just has the weirdest names for his songs XD But this is definitely a nice song to end the album with. A quite upbeat but relax song that you can listen to just about anywhere. A very easy song to listen to without too much going on and a nice melody repeating in the background during the verses and chorus.

Overall definitely a good album to listen to and definitely meets up to my expectations and more! With a few surprises here and there, but then there's the more nostalgic tunes to remind you that it is definitely Jay Chou. Love the way he mixes Hip-hop R&B with more Rock tunes, giving variety to the album, making it hard to get bored of (but I guess Jay Chou has a variety of songs from all kinds of genres XD). I would like it if he keeps away from the auto-tuning, but other than that, definitely an album to be recommended to others even if they're strangers to C-Pop and if they don't understand mandarin (like me XD)

Procrastination..

Is such a bad thing but I can't seem. to stop myself from it...( ノД`)
I seem to have slowly lost ny motivation in doing anything at all...
These past few days, all I've been doing is watch jdramas and read (manga or use watpad on my phone)
It's like I'm obsessed to the point where I fins doing anything else is useless OTL
Why have I become like this...?
Surely this is quite a critical time in my life where university applications have to be sent off soon and exams are coming up
*sigh*
Although only just today I've actually gone and forced myself to do some homework, but even that I couldn't last 10th minutes without my mind wandering off and 'forgetting' about doing my homework...
I'm really a pathetic excuse of a human, aren't i? D|

On a high note!
Jay Chou's new album is out today!
And a few of his songs have already been released with MVs, and it's pretty good so far!
Can't wait to hear the whole album!

(^O^)/

P.s. The photo is actually a pumpkin that was carved where I work (part time) a few days before Halloween but I think I forgot to upload the photo of it XD

First Driving Lesson!

Had my first driving lesson today (well just now actually XD) and it was freaky and exciting at the same time XD
I was kinda worried at what my driving instructor would be like at first, but she seems really nice and bubbly so I could relax that she won't be the kind to scream at you when you make the tiniest mistake XD
First she asked me if I had any experience driving anything before, and I really wanted to say yes, I've played mario kart and gran turismo (but I didn't XD)
And then we went through the first procedures before actually driving the car (which I was grateful of because I didn't have to start driving it right away XD)
And had to switch places with her so that I sat at the driver's seat, which seems so scary once you're in it and the stering whell looked big and scary _A_
God knows how she can trust learners to be at the wheel whilst she's at the passengers seat...although she does also have control on the clutch pedal and break pedals
But anyways...
I was finding it quite difficult to remember all the things she were telling me about and was glad that the massive mountain of information soon came to an end
And soon I was having to learn how to drive and stop =S
It was sooo scary at first, like I was kinda freaking out and forgetting what she told me to do, but thankfully she kept reminding me and instructing me on what to do.
And soon I got going at snail's pace - I didn't check at what speed I was going at - but to me it seemed way too fast XD
And I had to swerve around a parked car (which I almost hit DX)
But after 2 more tries I soon got the hang of things I could calm down a bit (it was still hard for me to relax though =S)
And then soon instead of stopping every 5 metres, I was having to drive to the end of the road and make a turn which wasn't as scary at first because there was no car coming, but then after a few turns I saw a car and actually freaked out (which lead me to stall the car XD)
But soon got going again and thought  I was getting the hang of it, until I got to a narrow road and a car was coming in the opposite direction and I started freaking out again at how close the car was....
I stalled a couple of times, and had to be told to accelerate a bit more because I was literally going at 10mph and freaking out about how fast I was going...XD
Soon she taught me how to change gears to 2nd gear and then one of the roads that we repetively went on started becoming way to busy for my liking and I *ahem* almost hit a car as I tried to turn because the car would not turn properly (must be because I wasn't going very fast), and it was way too scary....(>_<)
But despite all that I was having fun especially when I soon had the courage to go up to 20mph (which I was quietly freaking out but was thrilled at how fast/normal pace I was going XD)
And before I knew it, it was the end of my lesson for the day and I was sweating like mad and only when I got home, I found that I was shaking like mad as well...XD
But it was an amazing experience!
And I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for my next lesson next week XD

HOW CRAZY YOUR LOVE

YUI's new album 'HOW CRAZY YOUR LOVE' is out today!
And it is #1 (as expected =D) selling nearly ten times more than second place (which is Kuroyume) with 49.118 copies which is less than her 1st day sale of 'Holidays in the Sun' but still very good! =D
To be honest I wasn't really surprised that this album got #1 because I really do love this album and it has a lot of new elements in it as well as songs that feel nostalgic <3

01. HELLO
02. Separation
03. Get Back Home
04. Lock On
05. U-niform
06. Cooking
07. Rain
08. Goodnight
09. YOU
10. It's My Life
11. no Reason
12. Nobody Knows
13. Green a.live

My review of the songs:
01. HELLO - Was used as the theme tune for "Paradise Kiss" which I've watched recently and made me fall in love with this song all over again <3 And I really love the violin parts in this song (especially the pizzicato parts). It's also a lot of fun to sing and really easy with cute lyrics.

02. Separation - This is my favourite track of this album and I love it when she sings the 'lalaalalala Separation' part XD I don't know why but I just love it <3 It's also quite different from her usual kind of songs, and I like how brass elements were added to the song to make it seem a bit more jazzy. I absolutely love the melody to this, and how YUI sings it <3

03. Get Back Home - This is a more calm and gentle song compared to the two above, and it's a really nostalgic ballad. Where even YUI's voice sounds gentler and relaxing to listen to, making it sound almost like a lullaby until the chorus begins where it starts sounding sadder but still very gentle. This song would be perfect to listen to when wanting to fall asleep (in a good way though XD) as it has a really nice calming effect.

04. - Lock On - At first when I heard this song, I wasn't too keen on it (especially when the brass started playing which totally shocked me), but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. I really like how it starts off slow and then kicks into a more upbeat rock/pop song (but still not too keen on the brass bits). But still, I have learnt to like it and now think it's a pretty good song, and I really love the 'Lock on! Lock on!' parts XD I don't know why....

05. U-niform - This song sounds like a song you would listen to whilst on a big trip to somewhere, maybe for a holiday or something, and has the same feelings as 'Driving Happy Life'. I really like the acoustics in this song, because you can hear it quite clearly and gives off a really easy-going feeling.

06. Cooking - I was really looking forward to listen to this song, and it definitely didn't disappoint XD It sounds like it could be a children's rhyme and has a really simple easy melody (with words which I recognise without looking up the translation). Again it has a easy-going kind of feeling where you could listen to on a rest day and just be lazy.

07. Rain - It sounds like ages since she first released this as a single, and it also seems like ages since I've heard it XD which is good because it reminded me how good this song was. A more rock song compared to the previous two song, and just sounds like your usual YUI rock song, but I really love the piano part in this song.

08. Goodnight - I was disappointed when YUI didn't do another short song in her previous album 'Holidays in the Sun', so I was so happy and relieved to find that this song was less than a minute long XD And I love how it's like a lullaby to lull you to sleep with YUI's voice <3 Also loving the piano accompaniment with YUI's soft voice.

09. YOU - Was so happy when I knew this song would be on this album even though it's the B-side of Hello~Paradise Kiss because I absolutely adore this song and how the melody slowly builds up to the chorus which I find myself always singing to wherever I am XD During the end when all you can hear is the piano and YUI's voice with so much emotion put into it, is definitely my part part of the song.

10. It's My Life - This is a really upbeat happy song which I remember really confused me with the brass parts when it was first released as a single XD But still it's a very fun song that gets you up to dance along, and the brass accompaniment isn't bad at all. You can also hear the happiness in YUI's voice whilst singing this song filling it with full of joy and fun.

11. no Reason - This is another song that has a feeling of nostalgia as well a newness to it. It's very relaxed and another song that would sound great to play when going on a trip somewhere or maybe thinking back on things when on a really happy holiday somewhere. I really love the guitar riff to this song which makes the song more enjoyable.

12. Nobody Knows - This song has to be another one of my favourite songs, and has a hint of a western influence to it from the electric guitar at the start and throughout the song. Absolutely love the chorus of the song and I would love listening to this song live. I don't know why but I love how she sings 'oh baby baby baby' XD And I really like the guitar solo because it's so rare to hear such a guitar solo in YUI's songs and I really do hope she plays it herself at a live.

13. Green a.live - Last track on the album and definitely one of my favourites and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. It helps finish the album perfectly and leaves you wanting more when the song slowly ends. You can tell YUI put a lot of emotion into singing this song, where it starts off sounding quite solemn and finishes with a really hopeful sound like everything will be alright.

Overall I absolutely love this album and could definitely compete with 'Can't Buy My Love' as my favourite album by YUI XD It has many elements to it both old and new making it a really interesting album to listen to. There's plenty of relaxing, calm songs balanced out with the more rock and upbeat songs, which means that it will take maybe a thousand repeats for me until I start getting bored of it XD
It just reminds you of who YUI are and where she first started off and how she has slowly grown and improved as a singer, making you feel proud of being a fan and loving the music she makes.

Happy Halloween~!!

Although I'm not doing anything for it XD
I've only ever been trick or treating once but I don't think we got many sweets |D
And I've never carved a pumpkin before....it'd be nice to try once...(maybe I'll try carving pikachu into it? XD)

Today's also the first day back to school, and I was absolutely knackered (still am (>_<))
But that means 7 weeks  (?) left until christmas holidays start and then after that will be my first A2 level exam (I think Psychology is first)
It feels like it's been going through really quickly (well really quickly through half term anways....)
And I'll soon be going to University....*starts freaking out*
I haven't even perfected (can you make it perfect?) my personal statement yet...which is what's holding me from sending my application....
Although I really do want to get it all done as soon as possible....

And then there's my stupid extended project that I have to worry about....
Although I first started out really pumping with enthusiasm for doing it...now...not so much....
I feel like I've gotten really lazy...I just want to get to University but I can't exactly go until I've gotten everything sorted (like exams and application etc.) it's like that saying, "don't run before you can walk" or something like that XD
I just feel so impatient to get everything done and over with and I just want to get out of this household...
Then I'll be 'free' to do what I want without worrying about asking for permission for buying for this or that or staying out late or whatever

Going right off topic.....(as usual XD)

It's Halloween!
Although I don't usually do anything for it XD
But it means that I'll need to start thinking about christmas presents....(>_<)
So many worries............

Paradise Kiss

Was able to remember that Paradise Kiss DVD was out on 26/10/11 and forgot to go look for the subs until yesterday XD
I was going to post about it yesterday but just as I clicked on blogger, I found out that the internet was turned off so I stormed downstairs to ask who turned it off to find a massive TV in the way of the doorway _A_
So I guess....my family finally decided to buy a new TV (after the old one decided to die on us about 2 weeks ago)
So then they were all fiddling around with the TV and the router was unplugged so I couldn't go on the internet...(>_<)
And then just when they've plugged everything back in, I had to go to work....-_-

But anways...!
Before all that happened I was able to watch Paradise Kiss (whilst squealing a lot XD)
First things first.....
OSAMU MUKAI CAN NOT ACT!
I don't bloody care about what other people say, he is like a brick, he has no emotions and is way too stiff (>_<)
I think he can even go against Robert Pattison for who's the stiffest actor XD
Seriously, I've seen him in 3 dramas and in all three dramas his acting has been absolutely terrible!
I don't see why people like him so much! Yes the guy has a baby face and whatever but that doesn't mean he gets away with atrocious acting...!!!!
*calms self down*
I first saw him act in Nodame Cantabile, sure he had a relatively small role, but even thne he couldn't play an emotionless role, cheesus christ.....
And then I think next I saw him in Mei-chan no Shitsuji where he had a bigger role where he was in most of the episodes and seriously he was like a brick! Even a statue could do better than him for pete's sake!
And lastly, to my disappointment, he was also is Honey and Clover, sure that drama was way before Nodame Cantabil and Mei-chan no Shitsuji, but it shows how his acting has not even improved the slightest!

And then I had to go through the torture of watching him kill one of my favourite characters in Parakiss....(>_<)
And it wasn't pretty....he made George seem so boring and not at all hot as George should be...!! (>_<)
But other than stupid Osamu Mukai ruining George, Keiko Kitagawa I thought did a pretty decent job as Caroline/Yukai, although I only seen her in LADY~Saigo no Hanzai Profile, but I think she showed Yukari's personality pretty well.
And then there's Aya Oomasa as Miwako, which I thought was pretty weird at first when she tried to act cute and all,  (maybe because I recognise her from Mei-chan no Shitsuji and she's also in Kaitou Royale) but I soon got used to her acting and thought it suited her well.
Yamamoto Yusuke is just perfect as usual (or it's just because I'm just really biased XD) but everytime he came onto the screen I would squeal his name XD But his acting was really good (mochiron XD)
Shunji Igarashi as Isabella.....I thought was absolutely brillitant although if I am ever to rewatch Hana Kimi again (which I most probably would) I will never be able to see Noe in the same way again...XD
Last but not least Kento Kaku as Arashi, I've never seen him in any other drama so I didn't know what to expect from him, but I actually thought he suited the role very well and I really liked him. =)

Well that's all about the actors, onto the storyline, which I thought was pretty good, but I'm also pretty sure that there were some parts which weren't in the manga (especially the ending) unless I've forgotten the storyline XD
But even still they still stuck to some parts of the original storyline (like the bit when Miwako and Arashi were making out on the pool table which made me lol XD) and I thought the whole storyline was pretty sweet, although at some points were a bit too cheesy, but I guess most romance films will be cheesy in one way or another.
But all in all I liked the storyline and it did bring out the characters, even Yamamoto Yusuke's Tokumori which I didn't think would have such a big part in the film.

And of course there's the amazing soundtrack (XD) consisting of YUI's songs 'Hello~Paradise Kiss' (which was played twice) and 'YOU' (played at the end). And of course the other songs XP

Will try and find some screen shots of this film to make this post more attractive somehow...XD

Geeks Night!

Just attended Geeks Night!
I feel like such a geek XD
Well before that I decided to watch the first new episode of Kaitou Royale, which I have been looking forward to since they announced it =)
It has nothing to do with YUI's song being used as the theme song XD well maybe a bit...
But it's mostly because Kaitou Royale is replacing the time slot that OHSHC used to be in, and it's logical to watch Kaitou Royale and it's also something to look forward to after school on friday =D
Anyways back on subject.....
So I decided to watch Kaitou Royale and I ended up only watching snippets of it as I was trying to figure out what to wear to the Geeks Night (to cosplay, or not to cosplay, that was the question XD)
But from the snippets that I saw, I already know that I'm going to love the guy with the blonde streaked hair, and I already hate the cool-looking guy with the whole muscly built body =/

But anyways I got ready and decided to cosplay in the end (although I was only wearing a school sailor uniform XD)
And I decided to catch the bus into town (since mother is too lazy to drive me there...(>_<))
And I got so many weird looks, despite the fact that I tried very hard (ok not really...) to hide my cosplay (by wearing a raincoat XD)
And when I was walking to 'Waterstones' (which is where the Geek Night is based at) I caught a woman staring at me up and down and then going 'Oh my god....' which really annoyed me and made me even more self-conscious thinking 'Do I really look that bad?! D='
But then when I arrived to the front of Waterstones I saw others of my kind (well not dressed up in school sailor uniform but just cosplaying in general XD)
Whilst waiting in line, I saw lots of passer-bys looking at us like 'WTF?!' on their faces, and one even asked us what was going on, where one cosplayer replied 'Geeks Night' which made the passer-by stare at us even more XD

We were soon let in though, and I found my manga buddy friend and we mostly chatted whilst her guy friends messed around
They were all really nice, and then just as I was starting to get bored, my school friends arrived so I tagged along with them, until I was bored and returned to my manga buddy XD
The whole night was mostly like that, and it was actually quite fun because once I got bored all I needed to do was find the others XD
And although there weren't very many people this time around (I think I've been to three before XD)
I found that I enjoyed it more because I didn't get bored so easily and I made new friends =)
Although one of them started freaking me out (inside - I didn't show it on my face and just carried on smiling) because it sounded like he was trying to chat me up....D=
But I pretended to be ignorant and tried to ignore him when I got the chance XD
This is why I can never make male friends.....|D I freak out too much......_A_

I didn't win anything and the stuff they were giving out were mostly last year's stuff, and there tombola prizes were also last year's freebies which I thought was quite harsh and didn't bother trying...

But all in all I found it very enjoyable although I felt so self-conscious at the beginning XD

Last day at Edinburgh

The last day at Edinburgh was pretty laid back
We decided to go to South Queensferry (under the bridges) and we took a lot of pictures there, even though we used to go there when I was little (I think we still have those pictures somewhere...)

But apparently nothing's changed much...and we decided to walk around a bit taking lots of photo's of the two bridges and my mother was reminiscing about the past when we used go there a lot with my aunt (from my mother's side)

The day was also really nice, a bit chilly, but it didn't rain at least XD
And then we got hungry and decided to go to 'Nando's' to eat (the same Nando's we went to last year)
But then afterwards we had no idea what to do...since we got a few hours to spare before we met up with my aunt (from my father's side) again that night
So it was decided that we'd go to Musselburgh because my mother was deciding to move back up to Edinburgh and wanted to maybe buy a house in Musselburgh, so we decided to go over there
It was really nice next to the sea

The houses there were really nice, and we 'accidentally' ended up in someone's private house part XD
But the elderly lady there seemed pretty nice though and didn't mind much

After looking around we went to the restaurant that we were meeting with my Aunt and her family and had dinner with them
Not the best food but at least edible XD

And then! And then! We played fireworks in my aunt's (my mother's side) back garden and I got to light all the fireworks! And I guess, I'm pretty happy I could light them XD
I couldn't take any pictures because I left my phone upstairs...=(
But I still remember it in my head so it's fine XD

Pretty sad it was the last day, but holiday's can't last forever and I needed to get back (in time for Geek's Night! XD)

Visiting my new baby cousin ♥

Visited my Aunt and her newborn baby the next day
We took the train which was about an hour's journey before arriving at their town
My new baby cousin is just sooooooo adorable~!!!! (>w<)
And he's so tiny~~~!!!!

I wanted to keep poking his squidgy cheek all day XD
When his little glove things fell off, I tried to put it back on but then he grabbed onto my finger!!!
Soooooo cuuuuuuute~!!!!! (>////////////////////<) *dies*

So yeah....the day mostly involved me and my mother quealing over the baby XD
And then afterwards we left around about 5pm and returned to my aunt (from my mother's side) house and I made lasagna whilst my mother made bread

So that day was pretty laid back XD
But I was still pretty tired from all the travelling by train....
Oh yeah, and the return train tickets lasted to up to a month! =O Which was really surprising!

Livingston!

The day after the Uni Open Day, we went to Livingston to go shopping~
And we invited my other aunt (from my father's side - my third aunt)
And we didn't really buy anything at first, but then we entered 'Next' and my aunt (from my mother's side XD) found this top which she thought I'd look cute in
The problem with this top is that it was both lace and floral - two things I absolutely hate D|
But I knew that I had to stop thinking like that, I mean I've never tried wearing anything lace or floral so how would I know if it didn't suit me?
So I took the gamble and bought it XD
Then we were looking around shops (my mother wanted to buy some baby stuff for my aunt (from my dad's side - this time the youngest aunt XD) since she only just recently gave birth to an adorable baby boy (more about that in the next post =P)
We finally entered 'GAP' which we took ages in because we had to some how convince my mother from buying the knitted top because it looked good on her (and my mum being a fussy person) wasn't really sure whether to buy it or not _A_
Well in the end she bought it, and I bought a pair of skinny's and my aunt (from my mother's side) bought me a grey hoodie as well
And then we went to the other side to another mall (livingston is like heaven for shopaholics XD) and looked at a couple of shops there before deciding that we were really hungry....XD

We ended up eating at 'Wagamama' and I had no idea that it was actually supposed to be a Japanese style restaurant because it looked nothing like it XD
But (of course) I ended up ordering Miso Ramen for myself

And god was it delicious, however the more I ate the spicier it got XD
Until near the end I was nearly dying XD
But I managed to finish it because it was so nice~ I hadn't had Ramen in ages~~~~
The gyoza however wasn't as good....

So after that we went to 'Matalan' and spend the rest of the time there before leaving and going to my aunt's place (from my father's side)
And she gave me some of her daughter (as in my cousin's) clothes that she never wore and she though it'd be a waste to give them to charity, so I ended up with free clothes XD

In the evening we all met up again at the restaurant my uncle (my aunt from my father's side's husband) and had dinner there (which was absolutely mouth-watering all the food )
And at the end I played the ipad with my little cousin (who's just adorable especially when his two front tooth are missing (>w<))

And that is the end of that day XD

Uni Open Day

The third day was the open day
We had our tour and a little intro to the Uni
The Uni is such a massive campus and it's so peaceful and quiet with lots of greenery too!
There were also swans in a little pond (and one of them decided to show of and go upside down which made me lol XD)
Afterwards we were absolutely hungry so we decided to eat at a Korean Restaurant (which I've been to before   last year when I went up to Edinburgh) and it was still just as delicious~~~~~
Then what happened.......
I kinda forgot....|D
It's been a long time and I don't remember (I'm also still absolutely knackered....XD)

Dress Shopping

The second day in Edinburgh consisted of me looking for a prom dress XD
Actually that wasn't what we were intending to do in the first place, but it suddenly randomly became like that XD
We just started out just thinking of going window shopping and looking at sales, and then my aunt decided to take us to the shope 'White Stuff' which has really nice clothes but so expensive! (>_<)
Even in the sales, it was too expensive for me....(>_<)
But! But! But! My aunt had a surprise for us!
She told us to all choose some clothes to try on, even if we weren't thinking of buying anything, so that we could go to the fitting rooms
At first I was a bit confused, but when we got to the dressing rooms, I was even more confused because all I saw were wardrobes XD

And I found out that the wardrobes were actually the fitting rooms! Which is such an ingenious idea!
It actually felt like I was entering narnia as I opened the doors of the 'wardrobes' XD
And the insides were also pretty cool!

And each 'wardrobe' was entirely different from each other! (we also had a sneak peek at an empty males 'wardrobe' and it was all football fanatic stuff XD)
So even though we ended up not buying anything at 'White Stuff' we still had a lot of fun <3

I think it was after that, that we started going prom dressing, and at one point my aunt even took me to Jenners and to the 'Bare Essential's part and told them to let me try out some make-up XD
And the person who helped me put on foundation etc. was a gay Scottish man called Andrew XD
He actually made my day, as he kept saying 'oh I wish I had such nice skin like yours' in a gay scottish accent which was absolutely brilliant! <3

As we were walking aorund, we spotted a sign at the entrance to HMV which said that Matt Cardle was going to be there that evening
We decided that we'd come back to see if we could see him, and when we did come back, he was there! And there was a massive long queue of fangirls waiting for him _A_
There were some who was shaking after taking pictures with Matt Cardle, and I even spotted one crying as she came out......D|
So whilst all this was going on we decided to go into stalker mode and take pictures of Matt Cardle so we could say that we met him XD
And since he was situated near the escalator, we decided to go up to the second floor and then come down so then we would get a perfect shot of him! |D
As we were coming down, he was taking a picture with a fangirl but he was actually staring at the three asians coming down the escalator (where one of them *cough*me*cough* was trying to take a picture of him)

I couldn't take the one when we were coming down the escalator and it was waaaaay too blurry to even recognise who it was (>_<)

But after our stalking experience we decided to call my brother (since he really likes Matt Cardle's new song) and he was really jelly XD and asked us why we didn't go take his autograph _A_

That's kinda the whole day summed up XD
It was pretty fun with a great ending (^3~)b

Edinburgh~!!

Arrived in Edinburgh yesterday!
And was meant to update yesterday but was just way too tired....(>_<)
So I shall update today =P

It took us more than 10 hours to reach Edinburgh, although we did have a 2 hour break when we arrived at London
But thank god we did because we got lost when we were going from Paddington to Kings Cross XD
Apparently to my lovely mother, St Pancras and Kings Cross were the same thing, so we followed the signs to St Pancras despite the fact that I pointed out that the signs for Kings Cross was pointing to a different direction |D
As we were heading our way to the platforms we found a little display where everything was made of cakes! =O

They were really awesome! (and I love the names like 'Puddington' XD)

But anways.....
We were getting lost and we had to ask a policeman where the platform for Edinburgh usually is (why we asked a policeman, I have no idea.....OTL) and he told us it was next door opposite us...XD
And so I was like 'told you, you were wrong' to my mother (yes, I know, very childish of me XD)
And so she said that I was now in charge of showing us the direction to the station =P
So I took her around and we finally found the platforms although it was really hard because it was all under construction and it was so messy....
But then!
I discovered something!

I was actually thinking of trying to look for the pillar between platfor 9 and 10 and trying to find platform nine and three-quarters, but instead I found that sign XD
It really did make my day, although I felt sad that it had been moved.....XD

So after taking pictures of the sign and quickly uploading it to facebook and squealing at it, we waited by the massive screen for our train to finish being prepared
It took quite a while...despite getting lost we still had half an hour to spare, but it was soon ready and we could finally get onto the train
Once on the train we took out the YO! Sushi that we bought when we were at Paddington Station

It was actually quite nice! And they gave us soya sauce and wasabi and pickled radish as well which was pretty cool! =D
I ended up watching SIDNAD vol 7 on the train (which was 3 hours long to my surprisement =O)
But I enjoyed watching it (especially Mao's and Shinji's epic failness XD)

When we finally reached Edinburgh I forgot how bloody freezing it was up there....!!! (>_<)
And it was already night....

And I guess that's all for now =P
Will have to upload about yesterday and today as well XD

Edinburgh Tomorrow!

Will be traveling up to Edinburgh tomorrow by train!
And I will need to get up early as well....(>_<)
Haven't had a lie-in in a while.....=(
Hopefully there'll be wi-fi on the train but even if there isn't I'll most probably be watching the second part of SIDNAD vol 7 and Hana Yori Dango movie~
But I can't wait to go up to Edinburgh!
The reason is for the Heriot-Watt Open Day as it's one of my choices, although they don't do psychology and criminology (which is what my mind is set on currently), which is a shame because I would like to go up to Edinburgh (except for the fact that my parent are also deciding to move back up there.....¬_¬)
But I really do love Edinburgh (except for it being bloody freezing.......) it's a really nice city (and has lots of nice food XD)

Come to think of it.....I haven't actually packed my bags..............
May need to start that.....XD

Caught a butterfly sneaking in yesterday
It was very pretty but I let it go back to it's home~

Formula 24!

Over the weekend I went to the finals for the Formula 24 racing!
It's been nearly a year since we first started making the car....
How time flies so fast....
But anyways!
We decided to travel the day before the final so that we won't have to travel really early in the morning to get to Goodwood
It was about 3-4 hours drive up to Portsmouth where we stayed at a hotel there
The journey was brilliant as we were just listening to music (mostly old songs) that were so nostalgic since it was mostly by the bands/singers that I used to love listening to e.g. MCR, P!NK, Blink 182, Nickelback etc.
It was brilliant just singing along to the songs, and then they decided to play Disney which were just as fun to sing along XD We were all so hyped up and singing together XD That a friend of mine even decided to record it DX
But we finally made it to Portsmouth and to our hotel...

And even though we knew we had to wake up at about 6am in the morning the next day, none of us could go to bed and stayed up messing around (until the teachers came knocking on our doors to keep the noise down since they can hear us all the way from down the hallway =X)
We were just so hyped up and excited XD

Then it was on the day of the final!
We had to make sure to be by the mini bus by 7.30am (way too early for a sunday! (>_<)) and we just made it in time XD
On the way to Goodwood it was another sing-song and then we met our fellow rivals *cough*Megazord*cough* who were just behind us on their mini bus
Our mini bus decided to turn left on a corner, but our rivals went straight ahead which really confused us, and then we thought that they've gotten themselves lost XD
.....but instead....it was us who got lost OTL and we spent about 10 minutes just going around the same round-a-bouts over and over again, until finally one of the teachers got their GPS out and directed us out of the round-a-bout mayhem
And we were finally back on track! Towards Goodwood!
As we were getting there, the theme tune of 'Pirates of the Carribean' was put on and it was such an epic entrance into Goodwood XD
We just all couldn't wait to get out of the minibuses!

There were so many teams there! And we had a bit of noseying around to eye up our competition =P
I volunteered to be a marshal along with 7 others in my school and we ended up making up half of the marshaling team XD But the staff there really appreciated our generosity to help (more like being marshals so that we can be bias towards our team XD)
As a marshall my first job was to take care of the end of the pit lane and....actually I really didn't know what I was meant to be doing XD
We just ended up standing around watching the cars go pass us (it was at the time when the cars had an hour to practice on the laps) and we were eyeing up competition again and checking out which ones were the good ones and which ones we didn't really need to worry about (since all the cars were numbered on order of ranks and how many miles they have done this year)

At the time the pit lanes were pretty empty since it wasn't the proper competition yet and cars just came one by one
But then afterwards it was the formula 24+ races first (I don't think it was their finals) and were were put on the opposite end of the pit lanes to the beginning of the pit lanes so that we can contact the time management people which cars were going into the pits.

There were a few problems where we did tell them through the walkie talkies that a car had gone in, but there was no response and then they took us off our job (maybe because we were pretty bad at it XD)
And we put in front of the gates were were given the jobs to tell cars to slow down, which was pretty boring at first...but then we got used to it

An old man then walked up to us and started talking to the staff nearby us who were taking care of us, and only after he left that I found out that he was the owner of Goodwood and everything in this area (including a horse track that was nearby =O) and he was even a Lord! If I had known sooner I would've asked for his autograph XD

Once the 24+ races finished we had a break and then the Formula 24 parade started! And I decided to join my team and got really hyped up and excited because it was nearly our race!
There were some really cool looking cars and then others....not so cool XD And then there was one called tomato salad which was from an all girls school and they just wouldn't stop singing OTL and another all girls school where they were dressed up as girl cowboys and their car was painted like a cow _A_
It seemed like my school was the only all girls school that looked quite 'normal' except for the screaming crowd and our over-competitiveness XD

But soon it was the start of the race! And all the cars started to line up! I was back in my position but I had a good view of the cars and it felt like ages for them to start waving the flags and for the race to start!

Once the race started we were waiting ages to see the cars coming around the track (the track was more than 2 miles long =O)
And we finally caught the first glimpse of the first car which was Rotary Racer and bloody hell were they good!
They were amazingly fast and had soon overtaken the slow cars after only the second lap!
Our car was ranked 51 (so we lost our number 1 sticker and had to have a 51 instead (>_<)) but we soon climbed up to 37 in the ranks! Which was jolly well good!
Soon cars started to come into the pit lanes, it was alright at first since it started it with one car every lap coming into the pit lanes so we just told them to slow down without any problems
But then soon masses of cars started to go into the pit lanes (there were 77 cars on the track) and some just wouldn't slow down! It was so frustrating that we ended up having to yell at them to slow down
Which the Goodwood staff was pretty impressed with XD
Whilst this was going on our car started to decrease in its position (although it never reached 50) which we started worrying a bit...
I think it was half way that soon we started climbing back up the ranks again!
And what made things better was our rivals *cough*Blue Raptor*cough* broke down and couldn't be fixed so had to forfeit the competition *bwahahaha* Which was such a highlight for me and everyone on our team XD

Then we were told to switch jobs and had to do the recovery, which I was a bit upset about since I really liked my job XD
But the recovery job involves us going onto the track! Which, I guess, made up for it XD
And it was really cool actually being able to go onto the track and see the cars going around (and blocking our way so we had to slow down etc.) But I was surprised at how many cars kept breaking down (and it was usually the same cars |D)

However having to lift the cars was not so great as they were pretty heavy (for a weak person like me) and it was really hard to have a good grip of the sides of the car (>_<)
But it was still pretty fun
And soon it was nearing the end of the race and on the final lap, I swear, I had to go out and recover about half of the cars out there. It might've been because they thought they'd just drain the batteries down to nothing and just have us tow them back, but it was pretty annoying....
The good thing was that our car NEVER broke down and was always on the track without any problems!
Although we got bumped into twice....but no proper damage was done so we could still carry on with the race without having to be recovered!

It hit the end of the day and the end of the race and we came out......
35th!
Which we are all pretty chuffed about because we climbed from 51 to 35! Which is a great achievement especially since this is our first year!
Although we didn't get any awards (which we disagreed with some of them XD) but we did get a mention for providing half of the marshaling team and they really appreciated it since we always have volunteers for the marshaling team every time (for the three races we've had) we went to a race

So overall I had a great experience which I will definitely not forget about!
I had so much fun (although I am still absolutely knackered) and I am proud to be part of the mechanics team and supporting our team from the beginning!
Go team Hummingbird!

The cupcakes were made by a mother of one of the students!
They were so delicious~ and so pretty that I felt guilty if I ate it...although I gave in to temptation in the end.....XD
